Sandown and Shanklin RFC 1XV gain promotion to Counties 1 Hampshire League
With an away win against Winchester RFC 2XV in the final Counties 2 Hampshire League 2023-24 season fixture for the teams, Sandown and Shanklin RFC 1XV gain promotion to the Counties 1 Hampshire League for the 2024-25 season.

I travelled to Winchester RFC on a breezy but bright spring day, for the rugby photography coverage of the last game of the 2023-24 season, in this Counties 2 Hampshire league game.
The 19-29 away win for Sandown and Shanklin RFC 1XV ensured they stayed top of the table, finishing on 81 points – see the Counties 2 Hampshire league table 2023-24 below:

It was great light and conditions for this game for the rugby photography, and so far the image editing has shown I’ve managed to capture some superb rugby photos of the game, which I’m very pleased with.
