Rugby Sandown and Shanklin RFC v Millbrook RFC 30 September 2023
This Counties 2 Hampshire game, was a close game of some pace, with a home game for Sandown and Shanklin RFC 1XV vs the visiting Millbrook RFC, on Saturday 30 September 2023.
Held in warm sunny weather, I was using the newly released, and purchase, the Nikkor 180-600mm, for the Isle of Wight rugby photography.
It remains early days for getting used the lens, but the short focus throw and fast autofocus, paired with the Nikon Z9, is proving to be very good for the Isle of Wight rugby photography.
The image edit of these Isle of Wight rugby photos from this game, revealed some great rugby images that I am very pleased with, which will form part of the growing Isle of Wight Rugby Photos Archive.
An extremely close game, with a win for Sandown and Shanklin, with the final score 28-27.
